Over 20,000 New Zealanders volunteer with Red
Cross each year.

• They help New Zealand Red Cross improve the
  lives of vulnerable people in our communities
  through programmes such as:

  wander risk tracking, community support, 
  health services support, and refugee 
  support programmes

• In addition, many of our volunteers are trained
  and ready to take action in times of crisis:
  Emergency Management, community first aid, 
  Red Cross message, tracing family members, 
  travel documents, and the National Inquiry
