Red Cross Retail - Van Driver

We are looking for a professional Van Driver who is interested in taking advantage of an exciting and unique new opportunity, working with a great team of staff & volunteers. This part time position is based in Browns Bay, Auckland.

As the Van Driver you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth co-ordination of the weekly collections, deliveries and stock movement needs located mainly on the North Shore.

A full clean drivers license is essential - a background in driving as a courier, truck driver, buses or similar would be advantageous.

Red Cross Retail Assistant - Orewa Shop - Saturdays

We are looking for an enthusiastic retailer who is interested in an exciting new opportunity, working with a great team of volunteers. This part time position is based in our Red Cross Shop Orewa for 5 hours per week.

As the Retail Assistant you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational needs of the shop on Saturdays, liaising with the Shop Co-ordinator. This includes sales management, enhancing customer service, stock management, and shop presentation.

Service Centre Administrator - Nelson

New Zealand Red Cross is looking for an experienced, part-time Service Centre Administrator who is able to provide wide-ranging administrative support to the Nelson Service Centre.

We are looking for a mature, IT savvy and well-organised administrator with the following skills and experience:

Excellent people and communication skills - able to liaise with staff, clients and volunteers across age and cultural ranges.

Highly proficient IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Intranet, and databases.
General experience in office setting including accounts and database management.
Well organised and able to prioritise work.
Able to work well within a small team to meet organisational goals.
High level of initiative and quick to learn new skills.
Able to work under pressure in a dynamic work setting managing varied tasks.

This is a part-time, 20 hours per week role based in the Nelson office.

Experience working in an office administration or customer services position
Proven administration and data entry related experience for at least one year
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including database management
