youth membership

The future of New Zealand Red Cross is with our young people. Youth are considered a priority to New Zealand Red Cross and the global network supports youth development internationally.

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has involved youth in its work since 1892, and most National Societies provide programmes and opportunities for young people.

In New Zealand our programmes are continually evolving to stay relevant to young people and the changing needs of our complex society.

New Zealand Red Cross has an active youth membership who are involved in regional and national decision making helping to chart the future of youth involvement and programmes that benefit vulnerable young people in our communities.
