Two years since the escalation of the Russia-Ukraine armed conflict, fighting and shelling are still everyday realities for millions of people living in Ukraine. The scale of destruction is immense. Ukrainians have lost their loved ones, homes, and livelihoods, and are struggling to get the basics necessary for survival.

Dallas Roy, an operations management specialist with many years' experience working in disaster zones, has returned to Ankara, Türkiye. His second mission will focus on supporting recovery for the thousands of people affected by the earthquakes.

New Zealand Red Cross Emergency Response Unit’s IT and Telecommunications team has returned from Vanuatu after successfully restoring communications across the country for Vanuatu Red Cross in just two weeks.
