We partner with businesses across New Zealand to ensure we can help when and where we're needed most.
Where would we be without our partners?
Effective partnerships with businesses are increasingly important in the not-for-profit world. Our partners support us at every level. They improve our ability to prepare for and respond to emergencies. They widen our communication and volunteer networks. They provide strategic insight and strengthen our financial base. These amazing organisations make our work possible, day in and day out.

New Zealand Post Group
In an emergency, good preparation is vital. This is why we've partnered with the New Zealand Post Group. Our unique partnership helps us to prepare communities, and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies in New Zealand and the Pacific. New Zealand Post also support us with appeals, raising funds to help those in need.
Kathmandu supports us across a range of activities. We are happy to have the support of Kathmandu stores accepting donated goods for our Red Cross Shops. Kathmandu stores throughout New Zealand have donation boxes where you can take your good quality goods and they will pass them on to us. Kathmandu also support us through corporate donations, extensive discounts and staff and volunteer support.
We are pleased to be involved in the Kathmandu Workplace Giving Programme. Through the programme, Kathmandu employees can donate regularly to us, direct from their wages.
Working alongside New Zealand Red Cross, AMI aims to provide connectivity, build resilience and foster safety within New Zealand communities so they are prepared for the unexpected and can recover as quickly as possible.
Our partnership with AMI enables New Zealand Red Cross to train around 5,000 Kiwi kids in our People Savers Programme, meaning children across New Zealand know how to respond in an emergency while keeping themselves safe.
Red Cross also worked in 2017 with AMI staff to provide winter care packages to over 200 households in the Taranaki region making a massive difference to vulnerable people who find winter tough.
Country Road supports the Fashion Trade programme. The programme raises money for the community while rewarding customers for their social conscience. It also helps reduce landfill, encouraging people to recycle their pre-loved Country Road clothing. When you donate a Country Road item at a participating Red Cross shop, you'll receive a $10 voucher. You can use this voucher towards your next purchase of $50 or more at Country Road stores.
Boehringer Ingelheim supports our activities in South Auckland, funding the Save a Mate programme in Manukau. Employees also spend an annual volunteer day working with our refugee programmes team.
Northpower support us in Hamilton by providing covered, secure parking free of charge for our emergency response vehicles and equipment.
