Disaster Response Manager - Wellington
We have an exciting opportunity for a Disaster Response Manager to be based at Red Cross House in Wellington.

New Zealand Red Cross is a New Zealand wide organisation with over 14,500 members and 500 staff.
This is a unique opportunity to lead and support New Zealand Red Cross' disaster response teams across the country, and to ensure that the organisation is equipped to respond swifly and effectively to disasters and other crises both in New Zealand and overseas.
Our new Response Manager will be passionate about developing volunteers and supporting communities, and will have a sound understanding of New Zealand's emergency management structures and arrangements. You will be an inspiring and collaborative leader, committed to strengthening the capacity and capability of the New Zealand Red Cross whanau to support our communities in times of disaster.
You will have the ability to build strong relationships with tangata whenua, the emergency management sector, and the broader community, and to work in partnership to achieve the best outcomes for our communities after disasters.
