New Zealand Red Cross is a member National Society of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), which is the world's largest humanitarian organisation.

As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, our work is guided by seven fundamental principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.

The Psychosocial Support (PSS) Training Programme has, since 2014, been providing training to New Zealand Red Cross staff, volunteers, organisations and the general public. By choosing to be a facilitator with New Zealand Red Cross you will be contributing to the humanitarian cause.

To meet the ever-increasing needs of New Zealanders, New Zealand Red Cross has developed the Mental Health Matters training programme. The programme has been piloted, reviewed and is ready to roll out across the country.

This role will ensure the delivery of high-quality training sessions and will contribute to the on-going learning and development of the Psychosocial Training Programme.
