Retail Assistant - Hamilton

We're looking for a self-motivated Retail Assistant with a positive and friendly approach to join our Red Cross Shop based in Hamilton.

  • Permanent part time
  • 16 hours per week

As part of the largest humanitarian aid organisation in the world, New Zealand Red Cross plays a vital role in providing assistance to vulnerable people in New Zealand and overseas. New Zealand Red Cross is an organisation with 10,000 volunteers and 400 staff.

We are seeking a self-motivated Retail Assistant with a positive and friendly approach to assist with the coordination of the daily operational needs of our Red Cross Shop based in Five Cross Roads, Hamilton.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Promoting/Driving Sales
  • Cash Management
  • Shop Presentation
  • Stock Management
  • Assist with Volunteer Management
  • Adherence of the Health, Safety and Hazards Policy
