Bargain Book Shop - Palmerston North Book Sale alternative!
We are excited to announce that we are officially opening our Bargain Book Shop. This shop is an alternative to the cancelled Book Sale that was set to take place on 4 - 6 September.
Unfortunately, the Palmerston North Book Sale is unable to operate under the Alert Level 2 restrictions, which we are still currently in until 11.59 pm on Sunday 6 September.
This was an incredibly hard choice for the branch to make, as this is the second time we had to change the date. We know that this will also come as a huge disappointment to the hundreds of book lovers who eagerly await the annual book sale.
A massive thank you to our team of volunteers who have spent several months preparing for this book sale, with 100,000 books being carefully sorted.

Bargain Book Shop
We have some exciting news! Although our annual Palmerston North Book Sale is not going ahead due to Alert Level 2 restrictions, we are happy to announce an awesome alternative - The Red Cross Bargain Book Shop.
The shop will be the sister store of our current Red Cross Read Books on 245 Main Street.
The grand opening weekend will be on Friday 11 September - Sunday 13 September.
The shop is located at: 117 Rangitkei Street.
