Ramazan’s family came to New Zealand three years ago from Afghanistan, and Red Cross helped resettle his family into Hamilton. Today, Ramazan is giving back as a Red Cross volunteer in so many ways. He’s helped new families, who arrived as refugees, settle into their new homes. He’s also supported programmes for youth from refugee backgrounds. Today, he's swapping shoes to celebrate World Refugee Day. It’s fantastic to see Ramazan has been nominated for a Volunteering Waikato award!
