Save-a-Life
Our Save-a-Life course is available nationwide. You can also book for an exclusive group as well. This course gives you a basic understanding of first aid.
Recommended for
This course is a great introduction to basic first aid skills. This course primarily focuses on learning high quality CPR skills and gives you a basic understanding of first aid. This course may not meet WorkSafe compliance, we recommend checking the WorkSafe New Zealand guidelines.
What this 4-hour course covers
CONTENT:
- Primary assessment
- Stable side positioning
- Scene management of emergency situations
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – adult, child and infant
- Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Foreign body airway obstruction (choking) – adult, child and infant
- Control of life threatening bleeding
