March 2020 Appeal

Can you give an hour of your time to help vulnerable people in your community and overseas? During the month of March, we will have street collections around the country as part of our March appeal.

We need your help!

We are always looking for more street collectors to help out. You can even volunteer your time during your lunch break!

Can't volunteer? You can still support our appeal

If you're unable to volunteer for us, you can still support our March appeal by donating either on the street or online.

Your donation will help support people across the entire year. These are just a few ways you'll be helping people in your community:

Independence at home - help get over 500,000 meals delivered to people throughout New Zealand who need your support

Supporting new Kiwis - help resettle over 1,000 former refugees who've come from traumatic situations to find peace in Aotearoa

Warm homes - help put 3,777 curtains in cold homes of people who can't manage it themselves

Help when disaster strikes - help train 19 volunteer teams to respond to disasters like the Nelson fires, the Edgecumbe floods, the Kaikoura earthquakes, the Havelock North gastro outbreak

New Zealand Red Cross helps vulnerable people, around the world and across the street. Our key focuses are disaster readiness, response and recovery, refugee resettlement, international aid and community programmes. Your support is a sign of hope, helping to meet both immediate and longer term needs. Do a good thing. Donate today.

Your donation goes to 'where the need is greatest' - helping the people who need it most.
