Realising 2030 Review
The Realising 2030 Review is a planned midpoint review of Strategy 2030. Together, we'll take stock of our progress, celebrate what we've achieved, engage key stakeholders in shaping the future and prepare for the next phase of our Strategy 2030 journey.
Since Strategy 2030 was developed, the humanitarian and operating environment has continued to evolve, including growing and changing humanitarian needs, increasing pressures on our people and resources, and changes in how we need to work to deliver sustainable humanitarian impact. The review is an opportunity to consider these shifts and ensure we are focused on the right priorities for the years ahead.
The review builds on the work already completed through Realising 2030, the Area Model Review, Digital Transformation, financial sustainability work and other strategic programmes. It is not starting from scratch.
Why is this important?
Strategy 2030 sets our long-term direction as an organisation. The Realising 2030 Review provides an opportunity to reflect on how far we've come, understand how the world around us has changed and ensure we're well placed to continue delivering on our humanitarian mission.
Like any long-term strategy, it's important that we pause, learn from our experience and adapt where needed so we can continue making the greatest possible impact for the people and communities we serve.
How we will update you
Different stakeholders will be involved at different stages of the review.
Where your knowledge, expertise or governance role is relevant, you'll be invited to contribute to the review process. Even if you aren't directly involved, we'll continue to keep everyone informed throughout the review. If there are options or recommendations for changes to our governance structures, those will be consulted with all Red Cross people through a statutes review of our Constitution and Regulations in 2027.
