Recovery matters

Our Recovery Matters workshops are intended to support communities in the greater Christchurch area. Developed with disaster recovery experts, the workshops are led by trained Red Cross facilitators.
What does the workshop cover?
The workshops provide participants with practical tips and tools to understand and support loved ones, friends and neighbours through the recovery process.
During the 45 minute session, participants will have the opportunity to connect with others who are facing similar recovery challenges. They will also learn about the science of stress including problems with memory, decision making and managing responsibilities.
