Sign up to the first annual Southland Cheese Roll to support people in need.

Are you ready for the ultimate cheesy competition?

Participants build a contraption (or cheesy vehicle) that can roll a small cube of cheese (provided by Red Cross) down the hill in our Big Cheese Race. There are tons of amazing prizes up for grabs for winners! Cheesy grins guaranteed.

When? Sunday 20 September 2020, from 11am-2pm.

Where? Lee Street, Bluff.


  • Individuals: Babybels and Mature (kids and adults) $5
  • Groups: Platters (corporates and teams) $50

Bring the kids, your auntie, your pet rabbit and a deck chair...

There will be sausages and cheese rolls (of course) available to buy. Plus our Disaster Welfare and Support Team will be on-site with all their cool gear to explain the great work that they do.

How you are helping with cheese

All funds raised from this event will go to support vulnerable people affected by conflict, disaster and social isolation.
