Red Cross Meals on Wheels is so much more than just a meal delivery for people like Olwyn, 89. It is also a quick but vital chat, a moment of connection with a friendly and caring face that supports them to live independently at home. And for Olwyn’s daughter, Carolyn, knowing her mum receives this care provides invaluable reassurance, “it’s more than food, she says, “it’s peace of mind.”

Every week, more than 3,200 Red Cross delivery drivers provide over 13,300 nutritious meal deliveries to neighbours in our communities who, due to age, illness or disability, struggle to cook for themselves.
